Your privacy matters to me, especially in a space like this one. Here I explain what data this website collects, what it is used for and what your rights are.
Who is responsible

This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, when I work with people living in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data is collected and why
When you visit the website. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, USA). Like any server, it records technical data such as your IP address in order to work and to protect itself against abuse. I do not use this data to identify you.
Cookies and analytics. This website does not set cookies or use any analytics or advertising tools.
If you write to me. The contact form opens your email program with a ready-made message. I receive your name, your email address and whatever you tell me, and I only use it to reply.
If you book a session. Bookings are made through Google Calendar's appointment schedule and sessions take place on Google Meet. When you book, Google processes your name, your email address and the time you choose under its own privacy policy.
If we start therapy. What you share in sessions is health data. I treat it with the utmost confidentiality, under professional secrecy, and only record what is needed to support you.
Legal basis
I process your data because you provide it to contact me, book a session or have therapy, to meet my legal and professional obligations and, where needed, with your consent. Health data is only processed for psychological care and under professional secrecy.
How long I keep it
Messages and bookings that do not lead to therapy are deleted once they are no longer needed. Clinical records are kept for as long as the applicable professional rules require and are then securely destroyed.
Who it is shared with
I do not sell or pass on your data to anyone. Only the technical providers mentioned above are involved: web hosting, email and Google. Some of them are in the USA. In those cases, the transfer relies on recognised safeguards such as the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to me at info@maluhia-psy.ch.
For any question or concern about how your data is handled, you can contact me at the same address and I will reply as soon as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

If anything changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
